Therapeutic action and Indications
Treatment and prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Reduction of basal or induced gastric acid secretion caused by phenylbutazone-type drugs, food, competition stress, transport, and changes in habitat.

Contraindications
It is contraindicated in animals with renal insufficiency, hepatic dysfunction, and hypersensitivity to the drug.

Dose
Oral preventive 7 ml per 500 kpv, curative 10 ml per 12 hs.
Injectable, slow intravenous: 3.5 ml per 500 kg body weight.

Precautions
In very high doses and over extended periods, it may cause antiandrogenic effects. Rapid infusion can lead to bradycardia and histamine release.

Ranitidine Hydrochloride – 33.00 g
