Therapeutic action and Indications

 Indicated for cleansing the distal portion of the colon, helps to prevent faecal impaction due to motility disorders, meconium retention.

Contraindications

Do not use in horses with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients, suspected intestinal occlusion, moderate or severe renal failure, heart failure or congestive bowel perforation, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, uncontrolled hypertension and dehydration. repeated or prolonged use is not recommended. do not use for more than six consecutive days or if symptoms worsen.

Dose

Slowly administer 3 to 5 ml rectally.
